This policy explains how BOUMZOUD LLC ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Tallyline: Live Scores & Picks app ("Tallyline" or "the app"), published by BOUMZOUD LLC on Google Play. It describes what the app actually does.
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address and Google account ID | Only if you choose "Continue with Google" (Firebase Authentication). Signing in is optional; the app works as a guest. | To create your account and keep your predictions record, followed teams and subscription across devices. |
| Display name, chat messages, match votes and your own predictions | When you use the community, predict a result or vote. | To show the community chat, the fans' consensus and leaderboards. Messages you report are reviewed for abuse. |
| App-generated device identifier | Created on first launch (a random ID, not your hardware ID). | To apply free-tier limits, remember guest preferences and prevent abuse. |
| Push notification token and the teams/sports you follow | When you allow notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging). | To send the score, kick-off and close-game alerts you asked for. |
| Purchase and subscription status | When you subscribe to Tallyline Pro through Google Play. | To unlock Pro features. Payments are processed by Google Play; we never receive your card details. Subscription status is managed with RevenueCat. |
| Usage analytics and crash reports | While you use the app (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics). | To understand which features are used and to fix crashes. |
| Advertising ID and ad interaction data | In the free tier, through Google AdMob. | To show ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent first (Google's User Messaging Platform), and you can change it at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. Tallyline Pro removes ads. |
| IP address and request metadata | With every network request. | To deliver content and protect the service against abuse. Not used to identify you. |
The app does not request your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.
We use these providers to run the app; each processes data under its own privacy policy: Google (Firebase Authentication, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, AdMob, Google Play Billing), RevenueCat (subscription status), Cloudflare (our API servers and storage, and the AI model that generates match predictions from sports data, with no personal data), and sports data providers including Highlightly and ESPN (the app requests public scores and statistics; these providers can see your IP address like any website). Links to Amazon in the optional Store open Amazon, which has its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above to operate the app, or when required by law.
Account data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time in the app (You → Account → Delete account), or by emailing admin@boumzoud.com; we complete deletion within 30 days. Guest data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the app. Analytics and crash data are kept according to Google's retention settings (up to 14 months).
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with access controls on our providers' infrastructure.
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data and to object to or restrict processing. Contact admin@boumzoud.com to exercise these rights.
We will update this page when the app's data practices change, and revise the effective date above.
